The effectiveness of our ceramic is enhanced by a proprietary backing layer that absorbs residual energy, provides structural support, and reduces back face deformation (BFD). Together, these optimised composite structures produce armours capable of withstanding multiple hits. These armour systems give the men and women who protect us the required projectile penetration resistance and in some designs are 70% lighter than conventional armour steel—reducing fatigue and boosting confidence.
