However, 3M makes no warranties as to the suitability of the NRR for this purpose. 3M strongly recommends personal fit testing of hearing protectors. Research suggests that users may receive less noise reduction than indicated by the attenuation label value(s) on the packaging due to variation in fit, fitting skill, and motivation of the user. 3M™ 1100 One Touch™ Refill is designed as a refill for the 3M™ E-A-R One Touch Dispensing Stand (391-1000).
Slow recovery foam gives the user time to get the compressed foam cylinder (rolled down earplug) into the ear before the foam fully expands to fill the ear canal. Available with or without cords to suit user preference. Dispenser packaging option available. This product is EARfit testable to help validate the level of protection the individual user is getting.
